ABOUT ME
Hi, i’m Alina Poloboc (b. 1991, Moldova), a contemporary painter whose artistic path began unexpectedly at the age of 22 during a transformative trip to Italy. In the landscapes of Bolzano, I discovered painting as both solace and self-expression—a passion that soon became my life’s calling.
Over the past twelve years, I have built a distinctive universe I call “Fancy”—a vibrant world inhabited by symbolic characters crowned with energy, adorned with red heels, lips, and accessories, and immersed in my signature electric blue. For me, this color is more than pigment: it is a metaphor and a seal, embodying depth, mystery, and vitality.
My journey has taken me from Palma de Mallorca, Spain—where I refined my practice in a dynamic artistic community—to Miami, USA, where the cosmopolitan rhythm and music culture added new intensity to my work. Today, I live and work between Europe and the United States, presenting my art at major international fairs such as Context Art Miami (Art Basel), Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary, and Art Santa Fe, as well as in Germany, Spain, and Morocco.
My work is a fusion of figurative elegance and abstract expression—a visual diary of my emotions and experiences. Blue remains my anchor, present in nearly every canvas as a symbol of resilience and imagination. Beyond painting, I also explore digital art and 3D animation, creating immersive experiences that expand the boundaries of my “Fancy” world.
